Italiano
Italian subtitling has to survive a language that runs long: the same sentence translated from English typically gains characters, which collides directly with reading-speed limits. Most of the craft is in cutting without losing register.

English to Italian commonly expands, and a subtitle that was comfortable at 20 characters per second in the source becomes unreadable in translation. Hello8 enforces the reading-speed limit before the cues are written rather than reflowing them afterwards, so the translator is working inside the real constraint instead of against a later automated pass that undoes their phrasing.
The tu/Lei distinction and the gap between spoken and written registers are decisions, not defaults. State the register in the project briefing and the AI Reviewer checks it consistently across the whole track, which is where a single inconsistent form is most likely to slip through.
Our grammar-aware line-breaking engine currently models French and English. For Italian, segmentation uses universal rules based on punctuation, clause markers, and reading speed, and the AI Reviewer plus a human pass carry the quality. We would rather tell you which part is automated than claim a depth we do not have.
